Pathology lab software built for Indian laboratories

Most Indian labs still run on a register, a spreadsheet and a Word template. That works until the day two patients share a name, a report goes out with last week's reference range, or a referring doctor asks what they are owed. 365LabPro replaces those three tools with one record per visit.

Pathology lab software manages a laboratory from patient registration through to report delivery: it records the patient, prices the tests, tracks the sample by barcode, captures results against reference ranges, routes them for pathologist approval, and produces a report on your letterhead.

The whole path a sample takes

Every screen in the software follows the same sequence a sample does, so nobody has to remember which system to open next.

  1. 1

    Register

The patient gets a lab-unique UHID. Search by phone, name or UHID on a repeat visit so you reuse the record instead of creating a duplicate.

  2. 2

    Bill

Pick tests or a package, apply a discount, take part payment. The bill is numbered sequentially per lab per day.

  3. 3

    Collect

Each billed test gets a barcode and a colour-coded sample type, so collection staff draw into the right tube.

  4. 4

    Enter results

Values are checked against the configured reference range for that patient's age and sex, and flagged high or low.

  5. 5

    Approve

Only a user with approval rights can release a result. Nothing reaches a patient before a qualified person signs it off.

  6. 6

    Deliver

The PDF renders on your letterhead and goes out by WhatsApp, SMS or email through a time-limited signed link.

Reference ranges that account for the patient

A haemoglobin value that is normal for an adult man is not normal for a six-year-old. Ranges can be set per test parameter and resolved by age and sex, so the high and low flags on the report mean something. Qualitative results — Negative, Non-Reactive — are handled as well as numeric ones.

A test catalogue you do not have to type in

New labs start with a catalogue of common Indian pathology tests already loaded, with parameters, units and reference ranges. Set your own prices from there. Re-syncing later adds anything new without touching a price you have edited.

Reports a pathologist is willing to sign

Reports group by department, carry your logo and theme colour, and can include a footer disclaimer. Four cover designs are available. Generation happens in the background so a busy reception is never left waiting on a PDF.

An AI draft, never an AI diagnosis

Where enabled, the software can draft interpretation text for a report. It is a draft. A pathologist reads it, edits it and approves it before it goes anywhere, and the software does not diagnose.

Frequently asked questions

What is pathology lab software?

Pathology lab software is a system that manages patient registration, test ordering, sample handling, result entry, report generation and billing in one place, replacing paper registers and spreadsheets with a single searchable record of every visit.

How much does pathology lab software cost in India?

Prices vary widely and most vendors quote on request. 365LabPro publishes its plans openly and is free for the first six months, with no card required to start. After that you move to a paid monthly plan.

Can I use pathology lab software for a small lab?

Yes. A one or two person lab is the common case in India, where the same person runs reception, the bench and billing. The software is designed so a single operator can register, bill, enter results and send a report without switching systems.

Does the software need to be installed?

No. It runs in a web browser, so there is nothing to install on individual machines, no server to buy and no engineer visit. You need a computer, an internet connection and a printer if you hand out hard copies.
