Send lab reports on WhatsApp instead of printing every copy
Most Indian labs already send reports on WhatsApp — usually by forwarding a PDF from someone's personal phone. That works, and it also means patient reports live in a staff member's photo gallery.
Lab reports can be delivered digitally by WhatsApp, SMS or email once approved. Each report is sent as a time-limited signed link rather than a public file, so the PDF is not guessable by anyone who did not receive the message.
Delivery chosen per patient
Pick the delivery methods when registering the patient — WhatsApp, SMS, email, or hard copy only. Patients who want paper still get paper.
Signed links, not public files
Reports go out as time-limited signed URLs. The link expires, and a report cannot be reached by guessing a number in the address. This matters more than it sounds: a predictable report URL exposes every patient at once.
Sent only after approval
Dispatch is tied to the approved report, so a provisional value cannot be sent by accident.
What you need to enable it
WhatsApp and SMS delivery run through a messaging provider and need your own API credentials configured in the lab profile. Email delivery needs working mail settings. Without those, reports still generate and print — they simply do not send.
