Feature
Pathology report software with ranges that fit the patient
The report is the only thing most patients ever see of your lab. It is also the document a referring doctor judges you by, and the one a court would read.
Pathology report software turns entered result values into a formatted report: it checks each value against the configured reference range, flags results outside it, groups tests by department, and renders a print-ready PDF on the laboratory letterhead once approved.
Ranges resolved for the patient in front of you
Reference ranges are configured per test parameter and resolved against the patient — paediatric ranges for children, sex-specific ranges where they apply. Values outside range are flagged high or low. Qualitative results such as Negative or Non-Reactive are supported alongside numeric ones.
Your letterhead, four cover designs
Upload your logo, set a theme colour and a footer disclaimer, and choose a cover design. Every generated report picks up the design automatically, so the branding does not depend on whoever formats the document.
Approval before release, enforced
A report can only be produced once every test on the bill has been approved by a user with approval rights. This is a permission in the software, not an office convention, so an unapproved value cannot reach a patient on a busy day.
Generated in the background
PDF rendering happens on a queue rather than while someone waits at the counter. Reception approves and moves on; the report is ready shortly after.
An AI draft the pathologist owns
Where enabled, interpretation text can be drafted automatically for the pathologist to review. It is explicitly a draft: it is edited and approved by a qualified person before release, it can be turned off, and the software does not diagnose.
Frequently asked questions
What is pathology report software?
Pathology report software converts entered test results into a formatted, print-ready report. It compares values against reference ranges, flags abnormal results, groups tests by department and applies the laboratory letterhead.
Can reports use my own letterhead and logo?
Yes. Upload your logo, set your theme colour and footer text, and pick one of four cover designs. Reports are generated with that design applied automatically.
Does the software interpret results?
It flags values outside the configured reference range and, where enabled, can draft interpretation text. Clinical interpretation and approval remain the responsibility of a qualified pathologist. The software is not a medical device and does not diagnose.
